Andy writes: "I stopped reading comics 15 years ago. My local comic shop closed, and I gave up on it. Then, while on a trip to New York, I saw your comic on the shelf of a comic book shop. I don't even know what brought me in there. But I saw an Army of Darkness comic, and I picked it up. Thank You. You brought me back to one of my favorite storytelling mediums. I can't stop reading these. Just wanted to give you a "Nice Hustle". Keep Creating,
As cliche as it may be, it's letters like this, from fans like this, that make it all worthwhile! Thanks for the kind words, Andy (and for the new phrase, haven't heard "nice hustle" in this context before!)!

DYNAMITE IN THE NEWS:
[DYNAMITE SPOTLIGHT:]
ARMY OF DARKNESS/XENA: WHY NOT? #1http://www.wizarduniverse.com/032508xena.html
PROJECT SUPERPOWERS (Scoop): “Even if you've read the first three issues of this new series, sit down and read them again back-to-back-to-back. Anytime you let Jim Krueger and Alex Ross loose with a story to tell, they pack all sorts of details and nuance in it; you're just bound to miss something in one reading alone. It was true of Earth X, it was true of Justice, and it's true here. These guys are really mixing together a true love of these Golden Age characters and a deep, purposeful storytelling objective in Project Superpowers.”

PAINKILLER JANE/TERMINATOR (Scoop): “Writer Jimmy Palmiotti and artist Nigel Raynor have done a great job with something we chalked up as maybe just another dumb crossover when we first heard about it. We're happy to have been so wrong about this one!”

RED SONJA #32 (Best Shots@Newsarama): The “stand-alones on Styx” continue as Joshua Ortega writes a pretty strong tale of what Sonja might be like with a darker outlook. It looks as if this arc will be winding soon. That’s good for the ongoing life of the title, but I have to say that some of these have been fun. Next issue sounds like a good time, as it promises the return of some familiar villains.

THE LONE RANGER #11 (Best Shots@Newsarama): This generally excellent issue features guest art from Paul Pope in addition the normal killer chops of Sergio Cariello. I really like the way that Brett Matthews writes Tonto; he’s managed to take him from possibly the most underwritten sidekick in pop culture history and imbue him with intellect and menace. Pope’s visualizations of Tonto’s morality fable are some of the most stunning work I’ve seen this year. This comic is becoming a bastion of sterling dependability.
