Earlier this morning The Chicago Tribune's RedEye announced Erik Larsen's famed Image Comics superhero, SAVAGE DRAGON, would be returning to the Chicago Police Force after a twelve year absence with Barack Obama there to greet him in his first comic book appearance as the President-elect!"Writing and drawing Savage Dragon as a cop after nearly twelve years feels good--it feels right," Larsen told the Tribune. "It's a homecoming of sorts and it's a joy to be back."SAVAGE DRAGON's announcement in the Tribune's RedEye included an exclusive comic strip featuring Chicago's other beloved adopted son, President-elect Barack Obama, congratulating Dragon on his new position.
