Toy News: Toy2R Celebrates its15th Anniversary With Big News!!

With the new website, www.toy2rusa.com,up and running since Christmas, Toy2R is poised to make some waves in 2010.

The new web presence of Toy2R includes a revised blog moving QEE4ALL under the roof of the new site. News about upcoming releases, updates and all things Toy2R are being posted daily. News of the continuation of the Simpsons Qee line was confirmed with the announcement of the 10” Homer Simpson Qee dropping soon. This includes the classic everyday outfit Homer as well as the D.I.Y. Edition. Plans are in the works to make the D.I.Y. available for a world art tour like the Bart Simpson Qee Tour that included over 230 original customs! Other licensed Qee lines will be announced shortly including news about the follow-up series of Domo Qees!

Toy News: Toy2R x Apex @ Designer Con 11/21/09 - Booth #30

Toy2R and Apex Trading Company join forces to lauch the USA debut of several new releases during Designer Con in Pasadena on November 21st.

Both of Kozik's reimagining of the classic Toy2R Toyer figures will be available - the 11" Toyer Z and 11" Toyer Enemy Figures. Apex will also be offering their exclusive version of Kozik's 6" Glow in the Dark Potamus figure.

Qee highlights include the availability of the 8" Emon Burton Qee Bear by Ian Christy, the 8" Adventure Quest Deady Qee by Voltaire as well as the 2.5" and 8" Reservoir Dog Qees.

Toy News: Preparing for Toy2R's 15th Anniversary World Tour

2010 is quickly approaching as when it does - Toy2R will celebrate its 15th Anniversary.

A major milestone indeed and to commemorate the event - Toy2R is launching a Worldwide Qee Tour exhibiting new DIY customs from new, amazingly talented artists. Each event will allow artists to choose an original DIY character from the Qee Universe (Bear, Toyer, Mon, Cat, Dog, Bunee) to customize and exhibit. Locations for the stops on the tour are being locked into place and more added each week. As part of the promotion, Toy2R will be spotlighting new customs by some of the artists involved with the tour.

Today's group feature original designs and nods to pop culture entertainment.

Emilio Garcia's Brain Pattern Egg Qee custom features Emilio's signature brain design which will be a major release next year when Toy2R drops the 2" Jumping Brain Mini Figure Assortment.

Next, a custom tribute to Star Wars, Doggy Maul by Zac Barton, a unique twist and creation using one of the many original DIY characters from the Qee Universe.

And a two piece set from artist Jeremie Memming, Where the Wild Things Are Qee, using an 8" Qee Bear and a 2.5" Cat Qee to complete his vision of the classic tale.

Toy News: More Wood Style 8" Qees from Toy2R

Due to popular response from collectors and fans, Toy2R announces the addition of 5 new Wood Style Finished 8" Qees. The first series of 2.5" and 8" Wood Qees tagged with Toy2R's logo on the chest have since sold out. Listening to requests from collectors - Toy2R has opted to release these new finishes without the logo to capture a true Wood Grain look perfect for any decor.

The new releases feature original finishes of regular wood grain looks in both light and dark versions. The newer added Qees feature the wood finish of Sapele Wood - a reddish-brown wood that in many ways is very similar to Mahogany. Available now in light and dark matte finishes - but also a dark version available in high gloss!
