TV News: Adult Swim and RockStar Games Come Together to Deliver Fans Free Music Downloads

Free Downloadable Mix Tape to Debut Dec. 7 on

Christmas is coming early this year when Adult Swim and RockStar Games come together to deliver free music downloads to fans through a unique co-branded experience. Starting Dec. 7, individuals can go online to to download a free collection of music selected by RockStar Games and Adult Swim. Two of the selections “Hello Miss” and “Is That You God?” will also be available on the RockStar Games’ Social Club Web site,, a community where online users can create music, share the tracks and rate each other’s work. The promotion will run through the end of 2009.

The mix tape features the following up and coming artists:

Adult Swim will make viewers aware of the free downloadable mix tape through an on-air promotion directing viewers online to and to check out the opportunity to mix a couple of the tracks on RockStar’s Social Club. Adult Swim and RockStar Games will both promote the music offering on their individual Facebook and Twitter accounts, reaching hundreds of thousands of devoted followers interested in finding out more about each brand. RockStar Games will extend that social media awareness through their blog at where the latest information is shared with opt-in subscribers.
