COMIC CONVENTIONS: Kick-Ass Premieres In Chicago on Eve of C2E2!!



Limited Tickets Available for Convention Attendees and Chicago Comic Fans, Event By Lionsgate, IGN, and C2E2



The eagerly anticipated movie Kick-Ass, directed by Matthew Vaughn and starring Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Mark Strong, Chloƫ Grace Moretz, and Nicolas Cage, will receive a red carpet premiere in Chicago, IL on Thursday, April 15, 2010. The film, which opens nationwide on April 16, 2010, is based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and John S. Romita Jr. The Chicago premiere of the movie occurs on the eve of the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2), which takes place April 16-18 at the McCormick Place Convention Center. Selected cast members will participate in the Chicago red carpet premiere, and the screening will be a destination for press and professionals. Tickets will be made available on IGN.com and C2E2.com in the coming weeks for comics fans and C2E2 attendees wishing to attend.

Then, on April 16, the day after the premiere, C2E2 attendees will have an opportunity to meet cast members from Kick-Ass when they participate in an autographing session at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo. Details as to the time and location of this signing are forthcoming on C2E2.com.
