Hasbro took some time out to answer some questions:
Can we expect to see other figures from Planet Sakaar such as Korg, Axeman Bones or the Red King to go along with the King Hulk, Skaar and Silver Savage?
We have no immediate plans for additional Planet Hulk figures.
Will the new Marvel 3 3/4 inch figures be constructed like the "no-ring" Joes (ex: torso joint, ball joint hips), or like the the SW/Indy figures (ex: peg waist, t-cut hips)?
The articulation will vary depending on the character, but in general, you can expect articulation similar to the 25th anniversary Joes.
What is the street date for the Marvel 3 3/4?
You can expect this line to hit retail on March 1st of 2009 (orpossibly a little before)!
What are the street dates of the Ares & the Nemsis lines? Will they be available at the Hasbro on-line store?
These waves are exclusive to Walmart and will not be available onHasbroToyShop. The Ares wave is targeted for Sept. / Oct. shelf date andthe Nemsis wave should hit by mid December.

Mattel took time out to answer some questions:
1) Are there any DCU character you don't have access to?
There are not any specific characters that are off limits, but each character is evaluated individually by Mattel, DC and Warner Brothers to decide how he, she or it fits into each line. (for example, we work with DC Direct to try and not overlap the same characters they are offering in the same year)
2) What about Vertigo (Swamp Thing, Hellblazer) or Wildstorm (Wildcats, Gen13)?
Swamp Thing rides the fence since he is also a DCU character. Other Vertigo and Wildstorm characters are not part of our contract.
3) Will there be anymore The Batman figures?
Not in 2008, but with the advent of our new collector web store we are revisiting this line and reviewing fan interest in more characters in this style.
4) Have there been any changes to the DCU release dates?
Actually yes. We recently changed production vendors in an attempt to improve the quality of our product. Because of this, Wave 3 should be out in late July. After that, the second half of Wave 2 will hit selves (with Jason as Firestorm). From there we should be back on track with Wave 4, The Wal Mart Wave 5 and Wave 6 (to be revealed at SDCC) hitting shelves before 2008 is over.

1) Is there an Abomination in the works to go along with the Target Exclusive Hulk?
No current plans for a movie-style 6" scale Abomination.
2) Are there any plans to release a Banner or a Blonsky in the Hulk line?
Check out the SDCC product unveils starting 7/23!
3) when will the spider-man H/V wave with carnage, iron spidey, etc. be released?
The Spider-Man Classic 6" line should make its way to shelves startingin August.
4) What about the 8" Legends Unleashed, will it continue with new figures?
There should be a new Iron Man Unleashed figure hitting shelves justabout now. At this point it looks like we're going to rest it for a whilewhen we get to 2009….
5) What's the official word on the Marvel 3 3/4th inch line?
The official word is no plans for 3-3/4" in 2008.
