Hasbro Reveals New Wave 5 figures

Hasbro Reveals New Wave 5 figures

Coming this fall is one of the most incredible waves of GI Joe ever. Fill out your collection with old favorites Bazooka and Barbecue or build a limitless army of troops with BATs and Snow Serpents.

Design Team notes on Hawk - General Hawk is based closely on the original 1986 release (Bomber Jacket version) but features a few detail updates, including single-stars on his epaulletes, and a proud array of medals earned from his years of service with GI Joe. Also features a name Placard with “ABERNATHY”. Backpack and helmet based on original 1986 release but improved with more accurate and realistic details.

Design Team notes on Bazooka - Who wouldn’t want a big 14 on his chest? Bazooka leads the way in this 1985 recreation. Features 4 missiles that disconnect from the backpack to load into the bazooka weapon. Pose Bazooka with his weapon on his shoulder, or store his weapon on his backpack.

Design Team notes on Barbecue - Loving his job, Barbecue goes through any tight spot to put out all the fires. Inspired by his 1985 début, Barbecue’s accessories are recreations of his original gear with improved details.

Design Team notes on Black Storm Shadow - Based on an international variant, this all-black version of storm shadow is considered to be the leader of the nefarious “Ninja-Ku”.

Design Team notes on Snow Serpent - Considered by many to be the most deadly of all the vipers, Snow Serpents must first begin in EELS training. This incarnation of the Snow Serpent pays homage directly to the original 1985 release of this soldier. Features a clear visor, original snowshoes, and the signature missile station found in the original version.

Design Team notes on BAT - The best troopers to put in a firefight, because they never question orders or surrender. Details are greatly based off the original 1985 release. Both arms are removable to interchange with his improved arm weaponry and he also features a removable clear chest plate.
