Comic News: Top Cow and Heroes and Villains Entertainment Give First Look at Tracker

SERIAL KILLER WEREWOLVES SET LOOSE BY TOP COW AND HEROES AND VILLAINS ENTERTAINMENT

TRACKER: FIRST LOOK

Top Cow Productions, Inc. proudly announced today that fans who were unable to get the 2009 San Diego Comic Con Exclusive First Look of Tracker, the first collaboration between the publisher and Heroes and Villains Entertainment, can purchase the 32 page, full-color preview book beginning October 7th for $2.99 at their local comic book shop.

Tracker: First Look previews the upcoming five-issue limited series created and written by newcomer Jonathan Lincoln and featuring art by Francis Tsai (Marvel Comics Presents, Mercy Thompson). Tracker explores the shattered life of Alex O’Roark, the FBI’s top tracker, after his pursuit of the world’s most dangerous serial killer leads him straight into the maw of a werewolf.

“Tracker is different from other werewolf tales because it strips away the superstition and hokum that so often obscures the real story,” writes Tracker creator/writer Lincoln in an introductory letter. “There are no silver bullets, no full moons, no pentacles on the palm … just sharp teeth and a whole lot of back hair.”

Previously only available at this summer’s 2009 San Diego Comic Book Convention, Tracker: First Look contains preview pages from the upcoming first issue of Tracker plus character profiles, concept design, a fold-out poster of the cover artwork, an excerpt from the long anticipated The Darkness/Pitt, and more!

More than just a preview book, Tracker: First Look is the first published peek at what’s to come from the creative collaboration between Top Cow and Heroes and Villains Entertainment. Since 2007, Heroes and Villains Entertainment, a management and production company, has specialized in the production of content for the five pillars of entertainment: Film, Television, Video Games, Comic Books, and the Internet.
