Lucasfilm ’s Breakthrough Animated Series Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Rise of the Bounty Hunters

Cartoon Network and Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS) are coming together once again for the season premiere of Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Rise of the Bounty Hunters. Cartoon Network will premiere a full slate of 22 all-new episodes for season two of the critically acclaimed and top-rated CG-animated series from creator George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation. The special Star Wars: The Clone Wars premiere event on Friday, Oct. 2 will feature all-new back-to-back episodes starting at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
Building on a successful partnership from season one, EA is returning as a sponsor for Star Wars: The Clone Wars highlighting their new game MySims™ Agents within the high profile premiere night. During the special presentation, Cartoon Network will feature an exclusive sneak peek, as well as an insiders’ tip for the Wii™ version of the game. MySims™ Agents will also be featured in co-branded premiere on-air tune-ins on Cartoon Network leading into the programming event. Last season, EA offered viewers a code to help viewers play the new game at the time, SimCity™ Creator.

In MySims™ Agents for the Wii™ players take on the role of a special agent hired to foil the sinister plans of Morcubus, CEO of the corrupt MorcuCorp. By recruiting different MySims, each with their own special skills, players can build up their very own crime-busting dream team. From tracking footprints and using forensics to picking locks, hacking into computers, following leads, and collecting clues, players must rely on their wits, skills, and trusty gadgets to piece together the clues to solve mysteries. Jump aboard a private jet to reach an ancient temple, a spooky mansion, a seedy industrial section of the city, a sunshine filled beach boardwalk, or an icy mountaintop chalet. Each clue you uncover will lead you closer to the sinister Morcubus. Return from their adventures with cool treasures that can be used to construct and customize your five story headquarters. In MySims Agents on Nintendo DS™, players are agents assigned by their agency to help the mayor stop a notorious thief from stealing an ancient treasure. Along the way players talk to their favorite MySims characters, sharpen their agent skills with 10 different mini-games, and search through underground caverns for clues to the thief’s undoing!
Star Wars: The Clone Wars has emerged as one of the preeminent animated series on television, combining the expansive scope of the Star Wars saga with exciting weekly adventures. During its first season, premiere episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network (Fridays at 9 p.m.) ranked #1 on all TV with boys 6-11.
