Intrigued by a leader known as the “Mad King of Gaul,” Conan joins a band of brutes who are defending the Aquilonian border from incursions and who enjoy living in a lush valley that the Mad King claims for his own. These warriors soon believe that Conan may be a more fitting successor to their leader than the supposed king’s own son—setting Conan on a potentially disastrous course!

Taking place between the Cimmeria and Black Colossus story arcs in the Conan the Cimmerian monthly series, this issue is perfect for both longtime readers and for intrigued fans looking for a dynamic one-shot punch from the visceral and cerebral Darick Robertson.

5 Quick Questions with Liam Sharp

Liam Sharp is a British comic book artist, writer and publisher working mostly in the US marketplace.

Liam made his debut in the late 1980s drawing Judge Dredd for 2000ad. He later moved to Marvel UK, where he drew the best-selling Marvel UK title ever, Death's Head II. Thereafter he began working mainly in the United States on books as diverse as the X-Men, the Hulk, Spider-Man, Venom, Man-Thing (for Marvel Comics), Superman, Batman, and The Possessed (for DC Comics and Wildstorm), Spawn: The Dark Ages (for Todd McFarlane and Image) and Red Sonja for Dynamite comics.

Liam has also worked on more mature themed books for Verotik, drawing Frank Frazetta's The Death Dealer, and a strip originated by Stan Winston called Realm of the Claw.

In 2004 Sharp set up his own publishing company, MamTor™ Publishing, with wife Christina. This saw the launch of the critically acclaimed and award-winning anthology Event Horizon, and the prestigious collaboration with Mother (London) Advertising, Four Feet From a Rat, which appears as a quarterly comic in Time Out magazine.

Liam recently finished the controversial DC Vertigo title Testament with best-selling novelist and media commentator Douglas Rushkoff, and is currently drawing the comic adaptation of the seminal Xbox game Gears of War.

Liam also worked on designs for the movies Lost in Space, Small Soldiers and the animated series Batman Beyond.

Liam's critically acclaimed first novel GOD KILLERS: MACHIVARIUS POINT & OTHER TALES was published in 2008 with a second edition in 2009.

He agreed to answer 5 Quick Questions:

1) What would you say is your greatest achievement in comics?

Man, I've been so lucky I couldn't say any one thing. I started out assisting one of my heroes, the great Don Lawrence - who was knighted in Holland, sadly posthumously, where he's a national treasure - even though he was an Englishman through and through. I drew Dredd for 2000ad, a magazine I grew up on. I created the design for and drew Death's Head II which was the biggest selling comic ever to come out of the UK. I've drawn the Hulk, the XMen, Spiderman, Batman and Superman. I drew the Verotik comic of Frazetta's Death Dealer... all of these things were milestones, and far beyond any expectations I ever had for myself. It's nuts, really, looking back on that.

My most creative time was on Manthing I think, with J.M DeMatteis. We had an amazing time on that book, and again, Manthing was a character I loved as a kid. I also got to work on a book with brains - Testament with Douglas Rushkoff for Vertigo. For whatever reason I've found myself a drawer of monsters and muscles, which really doesn't reflect who I am, so Testament was important because of that.
But my GREATEST achievement would have to be the formation of Mam Tor Publishing with my wife Christina and art collector John Bamber. Event Horizon was produced during a fallow period for me, a time I thought I might have actually run my course career-wise (comics can burn up the best of us!) but Mam Tor gave me a chance to come back somewhat re-invented, and it let me spread my wings a little creatively, and also do some writing. We're publishing novels, artbooks and working with agencies like Mother (London) on projects I would never have been a part of had we not taken that chance. Event Horizon also launched a few careers, and that is enormously gratifying. It's been a busy career!

2) Who was your favorite writer or artist that you worked with & why?

Honestly, it's just not possible to say. It's like I don't have a favorite musical style or band, or type of clothing or color. I don't have a favorite anything because it changes all the time! I've loved different people and creatives for different reasons - De Matteis for his generosity and for letting me be part of a team, a real contributor to the story. Rushkoff for his wonderful, visionary content. ALL the guys who contributed to Event Horizon for their selflessness, goodwill and passion - and for trusting me. And, of course, Don Lawrence, who was my comics father.

3) What character you have never worked .., would you like to do & why?

Conan! And lord knows I've tried to get their attention! Somebody tell them to see sense! It's so OBVIOUSLY the book I was born to work on. LOL!>

4) Who are your influences?

Man, where to start - Don Lawrence, Moebius, Serpieri, Corben, Frazetta, Druillet, Bilal, Manara, Fabry, the Biz, Jim Lee, Sienkewicz, Al Williamson, Wrightson, BWS, Jeff Jones, Bolland, Liberatore, Wally Wood, Kaluta, Toppi... I could go on forever! You can never stop learning from the masters!

5) What hero or villain would you like to change if you could and why?

I made the Rhino a good guy in Death's Head II, which was fun. I have no strong feelings on this really. I'd only really think about it if I was writing a story about them, which hopefully I'll get to do more of in the future!

DVD Review: Marvel X-MEN Vol. 3 & 4 by Chris Fenimore

On September 15th the X-Men are back in two brand new to DVD releases X-men: The Animated Series Volumes 3 & 4. After the success of Vol.1 and 2 last spring Buena Vista Home Entertainment has continued the series with the two spectacular volumes. Volume three contains fifteen episodes from the third and fourth seasons of the show, with volume four containing the remainder fifteen episodes of season four. We can only assume at this point that they will finish the series with a fifth volume containing the final twelve episodes.

Really every episode from this series can be considered a fan favorite but more noticeable in these collections are the four part Dark Phoenix Saga as well as the four part Beyond Good and Evil Saga. We get to see all the classic mutants at some point in this phenomenal series. Created by Larry Houston and Frank Squillace, and produced Marvel and Saban Entertainment the episodes offered in these collections are sure to please and entertain.

The audio & video quality is the same as that of the first two volumes. Episodes have been enhanced minutely but enough that it does add to anyones personal viewing enjoyment making the overall experience quiet pleasant on a high-def television. Also the further we go into the series the more you will notice a slow steady improvement on the actual animation quality.

X-Men is something for all ages. Kid and teens will love the action and adventure, while adults will appreciate the well written episodes and how some of them follow the comics, along with all the hidden adult humor. And of course, everybody will appreciate the top-quality animation created by some of the greatest animation studios of the day and everyone will love the nicely drawn characters who bear great resemblance to the X-Men of comic book artist Jim Lee. Over all these are two must have DVD sets for any X-men fan, but also will make great gifts to give to the future generations of X-men fans.

Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is based on the popular Jeph Loeb/Ed McGuinness comic series/graphic novel. Bruce Timm (Superman Doomsday, Green Lantern) is executive producer. Michael Goguen (Justice League:
The New Frontier) is supervising producer. Sam Liu (The Batman) is directing a script written by Stan Berkowitz (Justice League: The New Frontier).

In the film, United States President Lex Luthor uses the oncoming trajectory of a Kryptonite asteroid to frame Superman and declare a $1 billion bounty on the heads of the Man of Steel and his “partner in crime,” Batman. Heroes and villains alike launch a relentless pursuit of Superman and Batman, who must unite – and recruit help – to stave off the action-packed onslaught, stop the asteroid, and uncover Luthor’s devious plot to take command of far more than North America.

"Superman/Batman: Public Enemies" features a star-studded voice cast filling the roles of super heroes and villains alike, including Kevin Conroy (Batman), Tim Daly (Superman), Clancy Brown (Lex Luthor), Allison Mack (Power Girl), Xander Berkeley (Captain Atom), Ricardo Chavira (Major Force), John C. McGinley (Metallo), LeVar Burton (Black Lightning), CCH Pounder (Amanda Waller) and a host of others.

Comic News: Devil's Due and comiXology

Devil's Due Publishing to Deliver Digital Comic Books Through comiXology for iPhone

Devil's Due Publishing and comiXology announce that comiXology will be distributing Devil's Due comic book titles to the iPhone and iPod touch. Comic books published by Devil's Due include the continuation of the TV show Jericho, plus popular titles like Hack/Slash, Voltron, and Spartacus: Blood and Sand, based on the upcoming Starz TV show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The soon to be released Merch Girl will also include exclusive music by co-creator, rapper MURS.

"We're excited that Devil's Due has chosen comiXology to be its digital comics partner," said David Steinberger, CEO of comiXology. "Fans of Jericho reach far beyond the local comic store, and that property, along with Voltron and Spartacus make great introductions to comics. They'll look great in our Guided View on the iPhone."

The Guided View feature of Comics by comiXology keeps the entire page of a comic intact, unlike other solutions where the page is cut into individual pictures the user browses like a photo application. The app's retailer locator will enable customers to contact local retailers from within the app itself to order the print edition of Devil's Due Publishing's comics.

"I'm very excited to be able to offer the massive library of Devil's Due titles through comiXology's online store," said Josh Blaylock, President of Devil's Due Publishing. "Comics on the iPhone are allowing us to reach millions of potential customers who have never set foot in a comic book store, and it's instantaneous. It's really going to expand the comic reading audience."

The Comics by comiXology App is available, including over 30 free comics, for $0.99 from the App Store (http://itunes.com/apps/Comics). Information on Devil's Due Publishing comic books can be found at www.devilsdue.net.

5 Quick Questions with Dan Fraga

Dan Fraga is an American comic book writer and artist. He was hired by Image comics in 1991 and worked on many titles for the company.

Dan has has worked on many of comics other top books including Spider-man, Wolverine, Superman and The X-men franchise.

In 2003 Dan left the comics business to pursue his interests in other storytelling media. His credits include working on the movies Transporter 2, Fantastic Four 2, One missed Call and Dragonball, with more on the way. Dan currently spends the majority of his time working as a visual consultant and 2nd unit director for music videos and commercials. Career highlights include designing sets and storyboards for artist such as Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Usher, Gwen Stefani,Jamiroquai, and T.I.

Expect to see more comics work from Dan in 2010 with two new creator owned titles from Image comics.

Dan currently resides in the Los Angeles area.

He agreed to answer 5 Quick Questions:

1) What would you say is your greatest achievement in comics?

My greatest accomplishment in comics? I'd have to say being hired by Image comics in 1991. I had just graduated high school, with dreams of drawing comics. I was hired only a few months after that. I was so very lucky to have been at the right place at the right time. Image comics was being formed during those months and it was my fortune to experience it as it was happening. I am very grateful for those experiences.

As with any artist, I still strive to do great work and always work towards being better at what I do. I plan on returning to comics next year with two creator owned projects. It's been over 7 years since I've been on the comics rack. I'm not sure people will even remember who I am. I've been busy learning a lot of storytelling techniques while working in film and TV. I hope to bring that knowledge with me, and apply it to my next comics projects. Perhaps a few years from now, my answer to your question will be about these books.

2) Who was your favorite writer or artist that you worked with & why?

Beau Smith. We did a series called Berzerkers back in '96. I enjoyed working with Beau because of his ideas and his spirit in which he conveyed them. Beau loves what he does and it's obvious when you work with him. That kind of energy is what I look for in a collaborator.

3) What character you have never worked .., would you like to do & why?

Batman. My favorite Batman is Frank Miller's Dark Knight version. That's the kind of Batman world and criteria that I want to play with. I want to know more stories that take place in that reality. I'd like to write and draw some of those.

4) Who are your influences?

I'm going to break it down into two categories: 1991-2003 and 2004-present.

1991-2003: Todd McFarlane, Rob Liefeld, Jim Lee, Art Adams, Jack Kirby.

2004-Present: Michael Golden, Eric Canete, Sean Gordon Murphy, Zaffino,Topi, Chaplin, Quincy Jones, Walt Stanchfield.. Many turn of the century cartoonists.. Johnny Gruelle, Arnold Roth, Joost Swarte, Windsor McCay, Russell Patterson… on and on..lol!

5) What hero or villain would you like to change if you could and why?

Robin / Nightwing. Because I know what it's like….

TV News: FAMILY GUY GAINS PACE AND RECOGNITION

Cult Comedy Records Its Highest Audience Figures On BBC3
and Receives Emmy Nomination

Family Guy, the animated cult comedy TV series delivers it’s biggest ever audience to date of an outstanding 1.2 million viewers on BBC31. A top performer in its time slot Peter Griffin and his unusual family continue to attract legions of fans and have also attracted industry recognition and endorsement, with an Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Comedy Series category - the first time a cartoon series has been up for this award since The Flintstones in 1961.

Targeting the core demographic of teen boys and adult males, the Family Guy licensing programme is keeping pace with the show’s growing popularity by extending the product offering into new categories, while existing licensees in apparel, footwear and bedding continue to gain strong support at retail.

Amongst various licensing deals, Bravado’s teen boy-adult male clothing is a high selling apparel line in entertainment and independent retailers. Evil Monkey and Stewie Evil T-shirt are ranked in the top selling designs. Thrilled with the performance of their Family Guy range, Bravado will launch two new T shirt designs - Trust and Anarchy - this month. Both T-shirts have already generated significant opening orders with entertainment retail accounts.

Further listings in the apparel category have been secured by TDP for nightwear in Tesco, in store in September this year. Brand International’s Stewie novelty slipper, is also being restocked by Play.com after its sell-out performance over Xmas 2008.

The Family Guy bedding range from Character World is now supported at retail from Argos and Express Gifts to Amazon and Play.com.

Underground Toys will soon be distributing The Promotions Factory’s highly collectible range of Family Guy figurines which feature the classic family members Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg, Stewie and Brian Griffin, plus characters Death and Quagmire. Later this year the new refreshed versions of the bestselling Family Guy In Your Pocket voice key chains will be available.

New partners to the Family Guy licensing programme include the UK’s leading annuals publisher, Pedigree Books. Designed as a gift purchase and stocking filler for the Christmas market, the Family Guy annual will be available across all Asda stores, as well as Borders and HMV.

Posh Paws has recently been signed as the new gift partner for Family Guy developing a range of barware, mugs and novelty gift items for launch in 2010.

The Family Guy franchise will be boosted further with the release of Season 8 on DVD in November this year.

“Family Guy continues to grow its fan base and attract industry acclaim through its smart and explosively hilarious brand of comedy,” commented Carl Lumbard, SVP and MD Twentieth Century Fox L&M. “Our licensing partners continue to create aspirational products that distil the show’s comedic qualities and convert its performance on the small screen into retail listings and sales.”

Comic News: CHEW SEES YET ANOTHER FULL SERIES SELL OUT WITH MORE NEW PRINTINGS ON THE WAY!

John Layman and Rob Guillory's CHEW sees a complete distrubtion level sell out on entire series in less than a week!

CHEW, the all-new crime series with a cannibalistic twist by writer John Layman and illustrator Rob Guillory, experienced yet another sell out on all issues despite the largest overprint on the series yet. More reprints are on the way, though: The second and third issues will each return for one final, "Last Bite" edition.

"I'm extremely thankful to all the fans and retailers, but I can't say I ever saw this coming," Layman said. "Even though we up the print run considerably every time we do a reprint, we just keep selling out in no time flat. That kind of support for such an odd book is hard to come by. Rob and I highly appreciate the overwhelming enthusiasm."

CHEW's star, Detective Tony Chu, is a cop with a secret. As a Cibopath, Detective Chu gets a psychic impression from whatever he eats. While it means he's a hell of a Detective if he can stomach the evidence, once his secret gets out the government makes plans for him, whether he likes it or not. CHEW blends horror, mystery and the strangest ability of them all in an ongoing series of horrific crimes solved in the most horrific way possible. With the sell outs continuing on a regular basis, Image will be once again increasing each printing’s quantities in hopes of keeping them available. The third printing of issue two and second printing of issue three will mark the final time these issues will be reprinted in the monthly comics format.

CHEW #2-4, all 32-page full color comic books for $2.99, will be available in-stores on October 7th, 2009. CHEW #5, also a 32-page full color comic book for $2.99, will be in stores October 21, 2009.

Comic News: WARNER BROS. CREATES DC ENTERTAINMENT

Diane Nelson to Serve as President, DC Entertainment

Paul Levitz to Segue from President & Publisher of DC Comics
To Writer, Contributing Editor and Overall Consultant to DC Entertainment

Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. (WBEI) has created DC Entertainment Inc., a new company founded to fully realize the power and value of the DC Comics brand and characters across all media and platforms, to be run by Diane Nelson, it was announced today by Barry Meyer, Chairman & CEO, and Alan Horn, President & COO, Warner Bros.

DC Entertainment, a separate division of WBEI, will be charged with strategically integrating the DC Comics business, brand and characters deeply into Warner Bros. Entertainment and all its content and distribution businesses. DC Entertainment, which will work with each of the Warner Bros. divisions, will also tap into the tremendous expertise the Studio has in building and sustaining franchises and prioritize DC properties as key titles and growth drivers across all of the Studio, including feature films, television, interactive entertainment, direct-to-consumer platforms and consumer products. The DC Comics publishing business will remain the cornerstone of DC Entertainment, releasing approximately 90 comic books through its various imprints and 30 graphic novels a month and continuing to build on its creative leadership in the comic book industry.
In her new role, Nelson will report to Jeff Robinov, President, Warner Bros. Pictures Group, in order to best capitalize on DC Entertainment’s theatrical development and production activities and their importance to drive its overall business with each of the divisions of Warner Bros.

Nelson will bring her expertise and more than 20 years’ experience in creative brand management, strategic marketing and content development and production to ensuring DC Entertainment’s dual mission of marshalling Warner Bros.’ resources to maximize the potential of the DC brand while remaining respectful of and collaborative with creators, talent, fans and source material. Additionally, Nelson will continue to oversee the franchise management of the Harry Potter property, which she has done since 2000, and also continue to represent the Studio’s interests with the author of the Harry Potter books, J.K. Rowling. Nelson will segue from her post as President, Warner Premiere but maintain oversight responsibilities of that division. (An executive succession plan for Warner Premiere will be announced shortly.)

Paul Levitz, who has served as President & Publisher of DC Comics since 2002, will segue from that role to return to his roots as a writer for DC and become a contributing editor and overall consultant to DCE. This transition will take place as expeditiously as possible without disrupting DC’s business operations.

In his new role, Levitz will be called upon for his deep knowledge and more than three-decade history with DC Comics, both as a comic creator and an executive. Besides serving as a writer on a number of DC Comics titles, he will be a contributing editor and consultant to DC Entertainment on projects in various media. Additionally, he will consult as needed on the transition and integration of the DC Comics organization into DC Entertainment and will utilize his unique experience, knowledge and relationships with the comics industry’s creative community to help achieve DC Entertainment’s goal of maximizing the value of DC properties. Further, Levitz will advise DC Entertainment on creative and rights-holder relationships, in particular regarding the legacy relationships that have been a part of DC Comics for decades.

Widely recognized and respected for his support of writers, artists and creators in the comics industry, Levitz is best known creatively for his work with DC Comics, having written most of the classic DC characters, including Batman, Wonder Woman and the Superman newspaper strip. At Comicon International in 2008, Levitz was awarded the Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award as part of the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards, the only industry executive ever so honored.

“DC Comics and its super hero characters are truly touchstones of popular culture, and the formation of DC Entertainment is a major step in our company’s efforts to realize the full potential of this incredible wellspring of creative properties,” said Meyer. “Diane knows our studio as a creative executive, a marketer and a senior manager, and this varied background will help her effectively and creatively integrate the DC brand and properties across all our businesses. We’re also thrilled that Paul will remain involved with DC and we’ll be able to tap his expertise to help us reach our goals for this new business.”

“It’s no secret that DC has myriad rich and untapped possibilities from its deep library of iconic and lesser-known characters,” said Horn. “While we’ve had great success in films and television, the formation of DC Entertainment will help us to bring more DC properties across additional platforms to fans around the world, while maintaining brand integrity and authenticity. Diane is a terrific choice to lead DC Entertainment, and with Paul in his new role as a valued consultant and contributing editor, both our company and comic fans win.”

“Based on the great success we’ve had working with DC Comics to create some of the most popular and successful super hero films of all time, I’ve long believed that there was much more we could do across all of Warner Bros.’ businesses with this great body of characters and stories,” said Robinov. “The prioritization of DC and the creation of DC Entertainment is a great opportunity that reaches far beyond the film group. There are endless creative possibilities to build upon the many significant successes already achieved by my colleagues Kevin Tsujihara and the Home Entertainment Group in the videogame, home video and direct-to-platform arenas and Bruce Rosenblum and the Television Group in live-action, animated and digital series. Collectively, we have the ability to grow a body of properties highlighting the iconic characters and the diversity of the creative output of DC Comics.”

“The founding of DC Entertainment fully recognizes our desire to provide both the DC properties and fans the type of content that is only possible through a concerted cross-company, multi-platform effort,” said Nelson. “DC Entertainment will help us to formally take the great working relationships between DC Comics and various Warner Bros. businesses to the next level in order to maximize every opportunity to bring DC’s unrivalled collection of titles and characters to life.”

“After so many roles at DC, it’s exciting to look forward to focusing on my writing and being able to remain a part of the company I love as it grows into its next stage,” said Levitz. “It’s a new golden age for comics and DC’s great characters, and I hope my new position will allow me to contribute to that magic time.”

DC Comics will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2010 (NEW FUN COMICS #1, the first DC comic, began publishing in 1935), at which time more explicit details regarding DC Entertainment’s corporate and management structure, film and content release slate, creative roster and business objectives will be unveiled at a multi-faceted anniversary celebration and press conference in the first quarter of the year.

Current DC properties in development and/or production at Warner Bros. Entertainment include:

– “Human Target” is being produced by Warner Bros. Television for a mid-season debut on Fox.

– “Midnight Mass” is in series development at Warner Bros. Television for consideration for the 2010-11 season.

– “Jonah Hex,” Warner Bros. Pictures’ supernatural Western starring Josh Brolin, Megan Fox and John Malkovich, recently wrapped production in Louisiana.

– “The Losers,” Dark Castle/Warner Bros. Pictures’ action-adventure drama starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana and Chris Evans, began principal photography mid-July in Puerto Rico.

– “The Green Lantern,” Warner Bros. Pictures’ next big superhero tentpole release, recently cast Ryan Reynolds as the titular character. The film has a projected second quarter 2011 release date.

– “Lobo,” based on the DC Comics anti-hero, has Guy Ritchie attached as a director; Joel Silver, Akiva Goldsman and Andrew Rona are producing for Silver Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures.

– Warner Premiere’s direct-to-platform DVD animated release of “Green Lantern: First Flight” debuted July 28.

– Warner Bros. Animation currently produces “Batman: The Brave and the Bold,” which airs on Cartoon Network.

– Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released “Batman: Arkham Asylum” on August 25, a dark, action packed videogame adventure for Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system, PlayStation3 computer entertainment system and Games for Windows.

Prior to being named President, DC Entertainment, Nelson most recently served as President, Warner Premiere since its founding in 2006. Warner Premiere is a Studio-based production company which develops and produces high-quality, direct-to-DVD and short-form digital content, including the highly successful line of DC Universe animated DVD titles, and also pioneered the development of the motion comics category. Under Nelson’s leadership, Warner Premiere functions as a full-service production entity with its own resources and release schedule, furthering the Studio’s mandate of being a destination for both established and up-and-coming talent to create stand-alone properties as well as experiment in new media.

Before that, Nelson served as Executive Vice President, Global Brand Management, Warner Bros. Entertainment, with the primary responsibility of working cross-divisionally and throughout Time Warner to maximize and optimize all the various windows and outlets available to the Studio’s signature franchises, brands and event properties on a global basis. In this post, Nelson’s primary focus was the management of the Harry Potter brand, which she has overseen since the brand’s launch at the Studio in 1999. These efforts have helped drive the success of the brand to become the most successful film franchise of all time, as well as a respected consumer property that has generated billions of dollars for the Studio.

At Global Brand Management, Nelson and her team of more than 15 employees worked in all media and platforms to support a number of other key franchise properties, including “The Matrix Reloaded,” “The Matrix Revolutions,” “Batman Begins,” “The Dark Knight,” “Happy Feet,” “Polar Express” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” among others.

Prior to overseeing Global Brand Management, Nelson had served as Executive Vice President, Domestic Marketing, Warner Bros. Pictures. Nelson rose quickly through the ranks, having also served as Senior Vice President, Domestic Marketing, Warner Bros. Pictures and prior to that, Senior Vice President, Family Entertainment, Warner Bros. Corporate Worldwide Marketing and Planning. She was also Vice President, Worldwide Corporate Promotions, a post to which she was promoted in March 1998, after joining the Studio in September 1996 as Director of Worldwide Corporate Promotions.

Nelson came to the Studio from Walt Disney Records, where she served as Director of National Promotions. She is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Communications.
